Contented clients at Kingsley Park
29/10/2009

When we decided in summer 2007 to move away from Wirral, we scoured Cheshire and the surrounding area for something different. When we first visited Kingsley Park in November 2007, we knew that it was exactly what we had been searching for. The tranquillity and woodland setting were stunning. Having visited Delamere Forest for many years, the opportunity to live in this beautiful scenery, yet remain within easy commuting distance of Liverpool, Chester and Manchester, was too good to miss.

We moved to Kingsley Park in June 2008, purchasing a mews house within Lime House, which used to be the Chapel / Dining Room of the Hospital. We were the first residents in this building, and moved in at a time when there were not many people living in the other accommodation, with much of it still to be completed. Notwithstanding, we quickly became friends with people in the development. People with similar philosophies on life seem to be attracted to Kingsley Park; those who want to live in a quiet, unique setting but within reach of the best that the region has to offer.

Despite our familiarity with Delamere Forest, we were undertaking something of a leap into the unknown as we had never lived in this part of Cheshire. However, we soon discovered that the area has something for everyone. We spend our weekends walking the many countryside and woodland trails, shopping at high quality farm shops or in Chester, and eating out at the varied collection of restaurants and gastro pubs. In fact, we liked the area so much that in July 2009 we moved into a bigger property in Kingsley Park, and plan to stay for many years to come.
